Olos is situated in western Lapland — now you may ask where is Lapland? Olos is actually very close to Swedish border and belongs to Muonio municipality. The surroundings and atmosphere in Olos offers the visitor a great chance to fully relax on holiday.

Olos has great winter sports facilities for cross-country skiing, downhill skiing and snowboarding. Therefore Olos hosts many cross-country skiing competitions and especially the first snow skiing competition is well known all over the world. It’s usually the first competition of the skiing season where many top skiers participate.

There are great possibilities for skiing, downhill skiing, snowboarding, trekking etc. in Olos. In Olos there is 250km of ski tracks and 10 slopes with 4 lifts. The longest slope is 1400m long and the height difference is 210 meters.

In the summertime Olos is a great place for trekking, hiking, canoeing etc. Take a tent with you and spend maybe just one or two nights in the amazing nature that surrounds Olos in every direction.
